Chinese tourists visiting Adjara not confirmed with coronavirus, they have left the region
The Chinese tourists being in Batumi city of Adjara region under observation were not confirmed to have the coronavirus; they have already left the region – Nino Nizharadze, Deputy Adjara Healthcare Minister said.
Nizharadze said that the tourists had undergone through medical examinations and results of laboratory tests proved negative against the virus.
Four Chinese women arrived in Batumi on January 28. Two of them had high body temperature and they were subjected to examination.
As part of preventive measures to avert the spread of coronavirus in Georgia, direct flights with China have been temporarily suspended till March 29 — Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) said earlier today.
