Giorgi Oniani, a representative of Transparency International-Georgia said during the meeting held at Central Election Commission (CEC) with representatives of diplomatic missions and election observer organizations that CEC hurried in compiling the correction protocols.

Oniani also clarified that videos existed reflecting one and the same voter casting his/her vote several times.

Tamar Zhvania, Chairwoman of Central Election Commission (CEC) said that CEC would pay attention to every violation and complaint.

“It is definitely a criminal offense if a voter votes several times. I have learned from you that the decision of the district regarding this issue is only a disciplinary sanction, we will definitely pay attention to this issue, as well as all the complaints that will affect the results,” Tamar Zhvania said.
