Carl Hartzell: Situation at ABL is a matter on which EU is firm supporter of Georgia
For the last 6-7 months, we have been concerned about the closure of crossing points of Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) with ‘South Ossetia’ – Carl Hartzell, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia told reporters.
According to Hartzell, the EU is a very principled and firm supporter of Georgia when it comes to the situation at the Administrative Boundary Line.
“We are closely following all developments, in particular through the EU Monitoring Mission and the EU Special Representative, including my own. Over the past 6-7 months, we have been concerned about the closure of crossing points of Administrative Boundary Line with South Ossetia. We continue making efforts for advancing this issue on the agenda until crossing points are opened. Our position is very clear when it comes to our participation in this matter”, – Carl Hartzell said.
