Canvas director calls for supply route adjustments in Vake, urges residents and suppliers to rethink plans
“Companies should adjust their supply routes to the Vake district, and both food suppliers and residents need to reconsider their plans for navigating the area,” wrote Giorgi Meladze, director of Canvas Georgia, on social media.
“Today, the university serves as the barricade of democracy,” he emphasized.
“Vake will be the fortress, and its destruction should signal the onset of the collapse of ‘Kotsi.’ This occurred during the Shevardnadze regime, and it could happen again. ‘Kotsi’ has lost Vake, just as they have lost the rest of Tbilisi. Today, the university stands as the barricade of democracy, and we must all do our part to defend it,” he wrote.
