Georgia will receive the PCR testing device, which will help the country increase its testing capacity, said the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to ADB, since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Asian Development Bank has been working to provide developing member countries with vital medical supplies and personal protective equipment.

“The Asian Development Bank has allocated a $ 12 million grant to Central and West Asian countries to purchase these materials and equipment and to help protect the population from the pandemic. Within the framework of this grant, Georgia will receive a PSR testing device, which will help the country increase its testing capacity,” the statement said.
