Armenian Ambassador to Russia – Evacuation plans of population in Nagorny Karabakh are considered in Armenia

Evacuation plans of the population in Nagorny Karabakh are being considered in Armenia – Vardan Toghanyan, Armenian Ambassador to Russia said in an interview with “Govorit Moskva” Radio Station.

The Armenian diplomat said that making humanitarian corridors would become needed if the situation turned to the worse in Nagorny Karabakh region.

“For several days, children and women have been hiding in basements. The issue is under consideration,” Toghanyan claimed.

Official Armenia said that 28 soldiers of nor-recognized Nagorny Karabakh army died in an armed clash with Azerbaijani armed forces. The death toll in the region’s armed forces reached 59.
