Evacuation announced at private school in Kutaisi, Batumi

The private school Progress in Kutaisi announced evacuation following a report on an explosive device received by the school principal via email.

Maya Tskitishvili, the head of the Kutaisi Educational Resource Center, has confirmed this information.

The Law enforcers are currently conducting investigations.

The Georgian-American School Progress in Batumi was also alerted about a potential explosive device, prompting the suspension of the educational activities, and the evacuation of the premises.

Law enforcement officials promptly responded to the scene, and the area was thoroughly examined. As of now, no explosive device has been discovered within the building.
