Archil Talakvadze addresses National Movement

Archil Talakvadze, Leader of the Parliamentary majority addressed representatives of National Movement Party during the extraordinary sitting of the parliament and claimed that they were losing sense of reality.

Talakvadze called on members of National Movement for reaching a decision whether or not they wanted to participate in work of the Interim Investigation Commission.

“This is not serious. You want to create the commission but claim at the same time that the work of the commission will be farce and falsehood,” Talakvadze stated.

The Georgian Parliament today will vote for membership of the Interim Investigation Commission into murder case of Khorava Street, a bloody conflict among teenagers on December 1, 2017, which claimed lives of two juveniles.

The Commission will have 17 members: Sergi Kapanadze, Otar Kakhidze, Elene Khoshtaria, Otar Abesadze, Sergo Ratiani, Khatuna Gogorishvili, Mamuka Chikovani, Giga Bokeria, Irma Nadirashvili – European Georgia Party;

Anri Okhanashvili, Dimitri Tskitishvili, Mamuka Mdinaradze, Eka Beselia, Sofo Kiladze, Archil Talakvadze – Georgian Dream;

Salome Zurabishvili –Independent MP; Ada Marshania –Patriots’ Alliance. Sergi Kapanadze will head up the Commission.
