Ambassador Zalkaliani attends RNC 2024

“Within the State Department’s program, the Georgian Ambassador to the US attended key events at the Republican National Convention (RNC 2024), the Ambassador David Zalkaliani wrote on the social network.

The Ambassador reports that he engaged with prominent US senators and representatives, including Senators Marco Rubio, Cory Gardner, Dan Sullivan, Bill Hagerty, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Congressman Joe Wilson, and prominent foreign policy leaders of the Republican Party.

“At an event organised by LNG Allies, discussions focused on bolstering US and global energy security. Senator Hagerty delivered the opening address, followed by talks with LNG industry leaders on expanding American energy production and enhancing the US role in global energy security.

Newscorp hosted a diplomatic gathering featuring House Speaker Mike Johnson as keynote speaker. The event included a discussion on US domestic and foreign policy with leading political commentators and moderated by Newscorp CEO Robert Thomson,” Zalkaliani wrote.
