Akhalgori Governor – We expect repatriation of Tatunashvili’s body and release of Georgian citizens soon

Nugzar Tinikashvili, Governor of occupied Akhalgori region told First Channel that he expected repatriation of body of Archil Tatunashvili, Georgian citizen to Tsilkani village and release of two men Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili soon.

According to Tinikashvili, negotiations were underway with involvement of Georgian government and co-chairmen of Geneva internationally mediated talks.

The three Georgian citizens were detained by the occupational regime. They led activities in transporting of vegetables and fruits.

State Security Service reported that de-facto South Ossetian authorities have named heart attack as the preliminary version of Tatunashvili’ death on February 22. De-facto government refused to admit experts of Levan Samkharauli Forensic Bureau into the region.
