Administrative fine for driving under influence of alcohol to become stricter

The parliamentary Human Rights and Civic Integration Committee discussed changes to be made in Administrative Law Violations Code with the first reading on Friday.

Based on the proposed changes, administrative fine for driving while being under influence of alcohol will become stricter and envisage suspension of a driving license for 1 year.

Driving without a driving license will lead to the penalty in the amount of 2 thousand GEL.

MP Levan Ioseliani presented the draft-bill to the Committee members.
