Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) Mamuka Mdinaradze hosted his Azerbaijani colleague Ali Naghiyev, who is paying an official visit to Tbilisi.

During the meeting, the State Security Service heads reviewed the main aspects of the Georgia-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and future initiatives, which aim to further intensify cooperation and ties.

Mamuka Mdinaradze and Ali Naghiyev emphasized the intensification of cooperation in information and experience exchange.

They remarked that cooperation between the security services of Georgia and Azerbaijan contributes to relations and plays a key role in the enhancement of peace and stability in the region.

The State Security Service heads reviewed ongoing processes and challenges in the region. Heads of different structural units attended the meeting.

Following the meeting, Mamuka Mdinaradze and Ali Naghiyev laid wreaths at the memorials of heroes fallen in the fight for Georgia’s territorial integrity and Heydar Aliyev.
