Zelensky says Ukraine facing the second wave of coronavirus

Ukraine is facing the second wave of coronavirus, said the President Volodymyr Zelensky.

President of Ukraine noted that since Spring, daily coronavirus cases increased from 300 to 3000.

In a bid to curb the spread of the virus, the government of Ukraine announced the closure of its borders for all foreign citizens until September 28. On top of that, the government banned foreigners from travelling through Ukraine in transit.

As of today, Ukraine reported 3 372 new coronavirus cases.
