Former Ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia, Ihor Dolhov, is leaving Georgia.

In his Facebook post, Dolhov thanked Georgia for supporting Ukraine since Russia’s war there, saying: “Georgia and Georgians opened their doors and their hearts to the Ukrainians fleeing the war and occupation.”

“We will never forget that Georgians are standing with the Ukrainian servicemen, sacrificing their lives for our and your freedom.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recalled Ambassador Dolhov on March 1, 2022, then dismissed him on June 26.

Ihor Dolhov stayed in Georgia until today.
