Wanted Saakashvili planning fresh wave of protests

Mikheil Saakashvili, former president of Georgia and ex-governor of Odessa wanted in Ukraine, plans to organize fresh wave or protests in Kiev. Saakashvili has not appeared in the town of tents arranged outside the building of Verkhovna Rada for the last 2 days. But he addressed his supporters through social network and said he had caught cold.

‘Due to Tuesday’s developments I lost my voice and had temperature but I promise to stand by you on December 10. I would like to thank you again for the amazing support! See you on December 10! We are meeting at Shevchenko Park and will head to Maidan!” he posted on facebook. The demand remains unchanged – impeachment and resignation of Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko.

Ukraine’s President talked about Russian trace in organized protests by his former advisor during a joint press conference with Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of Lithuania. Poroshenko accused Saakashvili of violating stability in the country.

Meanwhile, Head of Ukraine’s National Police Sergey Knyazev made a comment over the issue of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s detention. In response to a question on when Saakashvili is detained, Knyazev declared the following: ‘All in good time’. He also claimed that situation was stable and peaceful at the town of tents.
