A total of 23 415 driving licenses were issued in January-July of 2019 based on the information provided on the webpage of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The number of issued driving licenses was 49 121 in 2018.

Also, the Service Agency of MIA elaborated a legislative package within the framework of which the rule for taking a practical test will change – passing the test in real road traffic conditions will become obligatory.
