MIA detains 14 individuals on drug-related crime

Officers of the Central Criminal Police and Police Departments of Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Adjara, Imereti and Guria regions, through operative investigative activities, detained 14 individuals, among them foreign citizens, on drug-related crimes.

Through covert audio-video recording, the MIA determined that seven detainees were selling drugs in Georgia.

Law enforcers confiscated various drugs upon personal search and apartments of the detained individuals.

They face up to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
