Restrictions on municipal transport in large cities remain effective

The municipal transport restrictions in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori, Zugdidi, Poti, and Telavi would remain effective from December 24 to January 2, the Acting Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Maia Tskitishvili, said at a briefing at the government administration.

Restrictions on long-distance transport across the country also stand. Travel by private vehicles is allowed.

The Inter-Agency Coordination Council of Georgia decided not to ease the restrictions from December 24 to January 2 in full.
