Georgian Prime Minister says “the government’s goal is to hold upcoming elections in a peaceful, democratic, and transparent environment.”
Giorgi Gakharia noted that the COVID-19 pandemic can not impede the October elections.
“We always said that there would be a second wave of the virus and that we should follow simple rules.
Nowadays, there is no other better way to prevent the spread of the virus rather than a face mask, social distance and hygiene rules. We should follow those recommendations,” stated Gakharia.
