Out of 28 new coronavius cases, 12 linked to 'Dona cluster'

Out of 28 new COVID-19 cases, 12 are linked to the confectionery shop “Dona” in Batumi, three individuals had contact with an infected patient, two are imported, four have travel history in Adjara, three are employees of Rustavi branch of Aversi Clinic and four more are under study as their source of infection is unknown, said Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

At this stage, 275 coronvirus patients remain in COVID-19 Centers, of those, three are in a critical state and 16 more are seriously ill.

Georgia has reported 28 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 596, according to stopcov.ge.

15 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 1 294.
