Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Head of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases commented about the information spread by the media based on which one of the bloc of apartments at Saburtalo district of Tbilisi is in quarantine.

According to Ezubgaia, there is nothing unusual that new contacts were revealed and new cases were confirmed at the end of the incubation period.

On the question of Georgian First Channel on how correct is the formulation that the bloc of apartments is brought under quarantine, Ezubgaia said: “Probably no, search of contacts continues. People should be in self-isolation at certain extent. This does not mean that there is quarantine. Bringing bloc of apartments under quarantine is almost impossible,” she claimed.
