Hungarian FM says Georgia has been supporting Wizz Air activities

“Wizz Air flights have been reduced due to coronavirus pandemic, however, the reduction does not concern only Georgia and Hungary,” Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto said during a joint conference with his Georgian counterpart Davit Zalkaliani.

Peter Siarto noted that “Wizz Air reduced flights to different countries as well.”

Hungarian Foreign Minister pointed out that “the Georgian government has always shown positive attitudes towards Wizz Air actions in Georgia and supported the company.”

Peter Siarto added that “more Hungarian citizens want to visit Georgia. Last year, 7,000 Hungarians entered Georgia.”
