I must emphasize that the restriction does not apply to election agitation and campaigning, – the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, said at a government meeting.

Speaking about the ban on ritual events, the Prime Minister noted that one of the weddings held in Tbilisi in recent days has created five more new clusters in the country.

According to the head of government, nightclubs in open spaces are also banned.

According to the Georgian government’s decision, jubilees, weddings, celebrations and other ritual events are banned starting from today.
