Georgian FM thanks EU counterparts for support

“I would like to thank our partners, Foreign Ministers of 13 EU member states, who urged the European Commission to provide support to the Eastern Partnership countries, including Georgia, in obtaining the Covid-19 vaccine, Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said.

According to David Zalkaliani, it is an important message and confirmation of constant solidarity from the EU colleagues.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each of them, to all thirteen Foreign Ministers, and to inform the public that we are in constant communication with all our partner countries to obtain vaccine as soon as possible”, Minister said.

The Foreign Ministers of 13 EU member states urged the European Commission in a joint letter to provide support to the Eastern Partnership countries, including Georgia, in obtaining the Covid-19 vaccine in spring.
