Georgia reports 583 coronavirus cases, 671 recoveries, 19 deaths

Georgia reported 583 coronavirus cases, 671 recoveries, and 19 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 243 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 98 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 58 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 260 480, among them 251 748 people recovered and 3 240 died.

There are 430 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 341 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 277 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
