Commercial arbitration of international trade chamber to be set up in Georgia

Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated at the press conference before the governmental session that a commercial arbitration of international trade chamber will be set up in Georgia.

According to Bakhtadze, Georgia will sign the agreement with the international arbitration in Paris on December 20. “You know our vision – we want Georgia to become an economic and financial center of our region. Today we will announce two initiatives. First, this is a very important event – on December 20, we will sign an agreement with the international arbitration in Paris, according to which, a commercial arbitration of international trade chamber will be set up in Georgia. This means that Georgia will actually be the second country in Europe that will offer this kind of service to business and will generally encourage economic activity.

This is another message that the Georgian government is doing its best to make Georgia more integrated into the global economy and a regional financial center. This is the most important prerequisite for achieving our very important goal,” Bakhtadze said.
