Air temperature will drop relatively in Georgia on July 21-22

High air temperature will be maintained in Eastern Georgia until July 21. The maximum temperature is expected to be 35-40 degrees Celsius in lowlands and 33-38 degrees Celsius in the mountainous regions of the country.

According to the National Environment Agency, on July 21-22,  the air temperature will drop relatively on the territory of Georgia. Rain, thunderstorms, hail and strong winds are expected.

The Agency warns that abundant precipitation may cause swelling of small rivers and formation-activation of landslides in the mountainous zones of the country.
