Cold, snowy weather to persist in some regions until December 27

Until December 27, cold and snowy weather will persist in some regions, the National Environment Agency has provided weather forecasts for December 25-28.

According to the Agency, on December 27-28, precipitation intensity will decrease, with heavy snow, fog, and blizzards expected in highland areas. A strong wind will blow.

Tbilisi may experience slight precipitation. Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti) will have intermittent rain until December 29, with a strong southwestern wind.

In Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti), rainy weather is expected until December 29. In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo), intermittent snowfall is forecasted. In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro), there will be sporadic snowfall until December 29.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali) will experience rainy weather until December 29. Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro) will have rainy weather until December 29. In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Fasanauri, Dedoplistskaro), some snowfall is expected. In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), there will be snow in some places until December 29, with strong wind, fog, and blizzards on December 28.
