The National Environment Agency forecasts relatively cold and rainy weather in Georgia starting from January 9. In East Georgia, temperatures between +10 and +15 degrees are expected on this day. Tbilisi will experience rainless weather with daytime temperatures ranging from +11 to +13 degrees.

Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti) and lowland areas of Western Georgia (Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti) will experience rain and cooler temperatures on January 9.

Rainy weather is predicted in the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo) and snowfall in the Western Georgia mountains (Mestia, Bakhmaro) from January 9.

In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), snow is expected.
