21 employees of Kutaisi 32nd public school, including the principal and deputy director, contracted coronavirus.

Part of the staff is at school now, waiting for ambulance crews. None of them has COVID-19-related symptoms as yet, said the Deputy Director of the school, Natia Khazaradze.

The virus spread in school after one of the teachers attended a wedding in Tbilisi and had contact with an infected person.

Georgia has reported 57 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 830.

Nine patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 1 334.
