A gun may have appeared from under the clothes. Otherwise I do not think Dimitri Shashkin or Kakha Okriashvili needed to demonstrate that they carry guns – Zaal Udumashvili, a member of National Movement Party told journalists.

Udumashvili said that Shashkin was a former defense minister and he had the right to carry the gun. “This does not mean that he (Shashkin) intended to enter the polling station with a gun,” Udumashvili said.

A photo was distributed in the social networks today reflecting how Dimitri Shashkin, a member of National Movement Party, moved about Talaveri village, Bolnisi district of Kvemo Kartli region, with a gun together with his supporters. Kakha Okriashvili, Majoritarian (single mandate) MP candidate of National Movement in Dmanisi, Tsalka, Bolnisi and Tetritskaro election constituencies also told journalists that he also carried the gun.
