NEA issues alert on weather conditions worsening in coming days
The National Environment Agency (NEA) issued an alert on worsening weather conditions in the coming days.
Weather forecasters say that from the second part of July 6 through the first half of July 9, intermittent rain is expected in Eastern Georgia, heavy in some areas, namely in the Kakheti region. Thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds are possible.
“Heavy rains may cause swelling of small rivers and formation-activation of the land sliding processes (threat level high in the Kekheti region, medium – in other regions),” the NEA said.
