Whole Summer in One Day is a children’s grand festival organized by the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) First Channel. The event comprising bright educational and entertainment programs will kick off in Batumi at noon on July 22.
GPB Director General Tinatin Berdzenishvili will open the festival.
“Public Broadcaster aims to be interesting, contemporary, and relevant for an audience of all ages. Among our tasks is to create more opportunities for young media producers and to offer constantly updated programming to young audiences,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.
Again in Batumi, the GPB project Bookshelf organizes the book reading festival near Anbani Tower (Alphabet Tower). Parents and their children will have the opportunity to read books in a comfortable environment in nature, visit the reading space, exchange books, and get literature advice from the Bookshelf participants. The attendees will be able to listen to lectures, play Bookshelf with the festival’s host, Alexander Lortkipanidze, and receive prizes.
Ranina’s Grand Live Concert, hosted by David Aladashvili, takes place in the evening, featuring well-known compositions and world hits performed by participants from all seasons of the GPB musical project.
The festival aims to popularize reading among children, plant a reading culture in recreational spaces and create another cognitive platform.
