Weather to worsen in Georgia

National Environment Agency forecasts rain, thunderstorms, hail, and strong wind across Georgia on May 22-23.

The air temperature will drop by 10-15 degrees in the western regions of Georgia. The 2-3 magnitude storm is expected at sea.

Expected heavy rainfall may trigger a significant increase in water levels on the rivers, floods on small rivers in western Georgia, and the avalanche hazard, landslide processes in the mountainous areas, the agency reported.
