Water samples from Turtle, Lisi Lakes and Tbilisi Sea to be tested

Experts of the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and the Ministry of Agriculture are conducting regular monitoring of surface waters, from May to September, in connection with the opening of the swimming season at Tbilisi Sea, Turtle Lake and Lisi Lake.
Specialists have already taken water samples from the Lisi Lake (Tbilisi outskirts) for testing.
The test results will be published on the web page of the Ministry of Environment.
The test will determine whether the Lisi Lake is suitable for swimming. Water samples from the Lisi Lake and the Tbilisi Sea will be also subject to testing.
