The National Environment Agency (NEA) has issued its weather forecast for Georgia, covering the period from April 18 to 20.

According to meteorologists, April 18 will bring relatively warm and largely dry conditions across the country, whilst April 19 and 20 are expected to see a return of rain and wind, accompanied by a notable drop in temperatures.

Tbilisi: Dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +15 to +17°C.

Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): Largely dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +20 to +22°C on April 18, falling to +12 to +14°C on April 19–20.

Western Georgia lowlands (Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): Largely dry on April 18; rain expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +23 to +25°C on April 18, falling sharply to +12 to +14°C on April 19–20.

Western Georgia mountain areas (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): Largely dry on April 18; rain expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +19 to +21°C on April 18, falling to +11 to +13°C on April 19–20.

Western Georgia high-mountain areas (Mestia, Bakhmaро): Largely dry on April 18; rain expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +15 to +17°C on April 18, falling to +8 to +10°C on April 19–20.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Largely dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20—daytime temperatures of +16 to +18°C.

Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Largely dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +16 to +18°C.

Eastern Georgia mountain areas (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): Largely dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +14 to +16°C.

Eastern Georgia high-mountain areas (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): Largely dry on April 18; rain and wind expected on April 19–20. Daytime temperatures of +7 to +9°C.
