Vintage 2025 kicks off in Kakheti

Vintage 2025 kicked off in the eastern Kakheti region in the Dedeoplistskaro Municipality.

According to data from September 2, wine plants processed approximately 3.5 thousand tons of grapes. Over 200 wine companies are registered in the vintage coordination headquarters. Hotlines 0322 193 283 and 1501 operate at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.

Depending on grape species and quality, the price per kilogram varies from GEL 1.00 to 1.50. The government will not issue subsidies to private wine companies this year, the National Wine Agency reported.
