“No matter what news the opposition parties announce, everything they do will be nothing but a sham. In fact, we have seen it all before. We have heard their statements claiming they wish to communicate with the people, but in the end, it is always clear they lack genuine support,” said Giorgi Kakhiani, Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.

According to him, they lack any real electoral resources.

“They claim to be introducing innovations in politics, but this is merely a feeble attempt. Regarding May 26: during the recent events surrounding the Patriarch’s passing, everyone witnessed how deeply our people cherish the values that form the very foundation of our society. It appears that, in the wake of these events, the radical opposition also reflected on certain issues and attempted to introduce new approaches to their politics. However, this is merely hypocrisy. The values upon which they base their politics are entirely different from those upheld by our society,” said Giorgi Kakhiani.
