Vice-Speaker: Georgia-Azerbaijan share common goals for regional peace improvement
The Vice-Speaker, the Head of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Archil Talakvadze held a meeting with the members of the Committee on Foreign and Interparliamentary Relations of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan.
According to the Parliament’s press office, the parties discussed the aspects of the bilateral relations facilitating further development of the relations and the enhancement of the parliamentary cooperation. Talakvadze informed the colleagues about the EU integration agenda of Georgia and the ongoing reforms.
“Our friendship includes our successful political and economic relations, we share common goals for the improvement of peace and welfare in the region and as you may know, led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Georgia spares no efforts to facilitate the dialogue for the enhancement of peace, which includes the trust of other regional countries demonstrate to Georgia. They have reaffirmed their support and respect to Georgia,” Talakvadze stated.
