Varketili Metro Station to resume serving passengers from August 26

Varketili Metro Station will open and resume serving passengers from August 26.

However, due to ongoing rehabilitation works, the station will operate with a modified working schedule: It will open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m., the Tbilisi City Hall reported.

According to the City Hall, the moving directions of the escalators will also alter.

Varketili Metro Station temporarily stopped operation on July 12 for reconstruction works. The station will have been fully reconstructed by the end of this year.
