UNM’s Political Council Chair: We plan to organize peaceful revolution
“Within the Constitution, we plan to organize a peaceful revolution in Georgia. If that word scares you, I don’t know, yes, peaceful overthrow,” said Levan Khabeishvili, Chair of the Political Council of the United National Movement (UNM) party.
According to Khabeishvili, a peaceful revolution took place in 2003 when the regime of Eduard Shevardnadze was toppled down.
“A peaceful revolution took place in 2003 when the regime of Eduard Shevardnadze was toppled down, peacefully. The same happened in Armenia – Nikol Pashinyan ovethrew the regime and won together with people. Also, peacefully and within the Constitution, we plan to organize a peaceful revolution in Georgia. If that word scares you, I don’t know, yes, peaceful overthrow,” he said.
