UNM’s Pavlenishvili: There is controversy within Opposition Alliance, but National Movement not responsible
“I wish everyone success in the fight against Bidzina Ivanishvili, but not in a fight against Mikheil Saakashvili and the United National Movement,” Irakli Pavlenishvili, Chairman of the Interim Governing Council of the United National Movement, said.
According to Pavlenishvili, the UNM bears no responsibility for the conflict within the opposition alliance.
“We have said repeatedly that if the United National Movement were the problem, it would have become apparent. So far, however, we are seeing that there are disagreements among them as well. Therefore, we reiterate once again that the United National Movement bears no responsibility for this conflict,” Pavlenishvili said.
He added that the UNM has its own political agenda.
“I wish everyone success in the fight against Ivanishvili, but not in the fight against Mikheil Saakashvili and the United National Movement. The plan is very simple: as long as we remain in the opposition, our goal is to dismantle the Ivanishvili regime. What other plan could we have?” Pavlenishvili said.
