UNM's Pavlenishvili: No breakthrough in Georgia-U.S. relations possible without tangible step from Ivanishvili regime
“If the Ivanishvili regime fails to take a concrete step, it is hard to predict any progress in breaking free from international isolation and overcoming this arduous situation,” said Irakli Pavlenishvili, a member of the United National Movement.
Pavlenishvili was asked about the visit of the American delegation to Georgia in April.
“Among other things, the U.S. administration has repeatedly stressed the need for tangible actions to convince American partners of Ivanishvili and his team’s seriousness. This should not be a behind-the-scenes political gesture, but something visible and substantial on the surface,” Irakli Pavlenishvili explained.
