UNM’s Khabeishvili urges to stop complaining and ‘peacefully unseat Russian regime’ before it’s too late
“We must cease our complaints and focus on taking decisive action to unseat the Russian regime peacefully. Time is running out,” wrote Levan Khabeishvili, Chairman of the United National Movement’s (UNM) Political Council, on Facebook.
Khabeishvili has called for a large-scale rally on Rustaveli Avenue on October 4.
“Why are you surprised by Kobakhidze’s statements? Do you expect the GRU [Main Intelligence Directorate of the Soviet Union] to send a different ‘message’ to its representative? Did you expect to hear pro-state statements from the Russians, those who are the continuation of Putin, Lavrov, and Zakharova? They are acting in perfect synchrony with our enemy: Russian boots, bitterness, kidnapping of people, torture, and the seizure of territories. And what about Ivanishvili? Did he not do the same here? Did he not kidnap people from Rustaveli? Did he not torture them? Did he not plunder the population and seize our people’s property?
Let’s stop the endless “complaining”. We must address the issue and peacefully work to overthrow the Russian regime. Time is running out. Everyone must take to Rustaveli on October 4,” Levan Khabeishvili wrote.
