UNM’s Khabeishvili: Those who think they can easily arrest me are wrong; we’ll see who arrests whom
“The Georgian Dream is in a state of hysteria, and they are absolutely right to be so. Those who believe they can easily arrest me are gravely mistaken. Let’s wait and see who will arrest whom,” declared Levan Khabeishvili, Chairman of the Political Council of the United National Movement.
According to Khabeishvili, the government is attempting to psychologically intimidate him to facilitate his arrest, despite their apparent misjudgment of his resilience and intentions.
“They posted this at 11:30 p.m., an official statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs claiming I should be detained. Everyone knows that the head of strategic communications manages this page. Remarkably, they’ve never previously published such reckless claims, talk of prison doors opening, exhaustion from hearing my voice every evening, and so on. All of this reveals utter disorganisation within the Georgian Dream and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They are trying to exert psychological pressure on me, suggesting they will arrest me, but guys, that’s a very bad idea. It’s not that simple. Who will arrest whom? We’ll see. Wait for us, I have a lot of interesting information about you. I understand their hysteria, and honestly, they have every reason to be panicked. Minister Gela, Geka, or Jeka, whatever you call yourself, it’s clear you should be worried. Sorry to say, but you are going mad, guys,” Khabeishvili said.
