Georgian Foreign Ministry seeks info on Georgian citizens after Moscow-bound bus collides with lorry

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on 30 August, a passenger bus travelling from Tbilisi to Moscow collided with a lorry near the town of Zheleznovodsk. Casualties and injuries have been reported.

The Foreign Ministry stated that the Georgian Interests Section of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation to the Russian Federation is taking all necessary measures to obtain details regarding the Georgian citizens who were on board the Tbilisi-Moscow bus.

“A representative from the Georgian Interests Section has travelled to the scene of the accident to provide appropriate assistance to the Georgian citizens,” the Foreign Ministry announced.
