UNM’s Bokuchava: Gakharia’s team hiding to prevent Gori Council Chair’s impeachment

“I am addressing Giorgi Gakharia, who has truly become a troll and a clown. Members of your faction in the Gori City Council are hiding from the representatives of the United National Movement faction, turning off their phones to avoid allowing the impeachment procedure against the Chairman of the Gori City Council, Davit Razmadze, to proceed,” wrote Tina Bokuchava, Chairwoman of the United National Movement party, on social media.

Bokuchava urged Gakharia’s party to join UNM’s initiative on Razmadze’s impeachment without delay.

“This is the shameful traitor who calls the occupiers—the murderers of Giorgi Antsukhelidze and aggressors of Georgia—‘peacemakers,’ while labelling our heroic soldiers ‘hooligans.’ Any state with national dignity would not only remove such a traitor but hold him accountable for treason. Yet in Ivanishvili’s Russian regime, this man profits from family businesses, including in Russia. His brother-in-law, Vakhtang Karichashvili, is linked with Ucha Mamatsashvili. If you are not petty corruptors or collaborators of Russian smuggling, why are you hiding? Join the National Movement’s initiative for Razmadze’s impeachment promptly!” she stated.

Gakharia For Georgia wrote on social media: “It is regrettable that the leaders of the National Movement have become Georgian Dream’s trolls. Our faction in the Gori City Council will support the impeachment of the City Council Chairman.”
