Tina Bokuchava, Petre Tsiskarishvili, and Levan Sanikidze, leaders of the United National Movement (UNM), are currently in London, where they are expected to engage in “serious negotiations,” stated Gia Baramidze, a UNM member.

Baramidze commented on the recent information regarding the UNM leaders’ meeting with former Defence Minister Davit Kezerashvili in London.

“We will continue our fight on the international stage to impose sanctions on the regime. Our party leaders have travelled to London to conduct serious negotiations aimed at urging the UK to impose personal sanctions on Bidzina Ivanishvili and his associates. The UK’s role in this process is crucial,” he stated.

When asked about the possibility of accepting donations from Kezerashvili, Baramidze responded:

“Petre Tsiskarishvili maintains friendly relations with Davit Kezerashvili despite his limited financial support to the UNM. We would welcome donations to the UNM and other patriotic parties from anyone, including ex-defence minister Kezerashvili, in support of the Georgian people’s peaceful, non-violent struggle against the Fifth Column—a treacherous, criminal gang comfortably seated within the Georgian government.

That is precisely why our party leaders are in London. Many other opposition figures are imprisoned alongside Mikheil Saakashvili. Our delegation’s goal is to meet with British political forces we have long sought to engage, in order to advocate for sanctions against this treacherous, criminal gang.

If there are any other meetings with individuals willing to support the UNM’s mission to rescue Georgia from this criminal, treacherous, Russian-backed regime, we would be grateful. We openly welcome donations to the UNM or any other patriotic parties from anyone, including ex-defence minister Kezerashvili,” he concluded.
