UNM's Baramidze: Once band of traitors is defeated, we'll see them held accountable
The Political Secretary of the United National Movement (UNM) party, Giorgi Baramidze, has described the selection of Irakli Kobakhidze as “chairman of the group of traitors” as entirely predictable.
Speaking to reporters, Baramidze claimed that Bidzina Ivanishvili “has a very limited circle of people he can trust on matters of betraying the country.”
According to Giorgi Baramidze, ‘Georgian Dream is clutching at straws. As if anyone in the U.S. would still follow Kobakhidze’s and Ivanishvili’s reasoning, and the MEGOBARI Act would not be adopted and signed by Trump.”
“Just as the House of Representatives passed the MEGOBARI Act, so will the Senate, and President Trump will sign it,” Baramidze stated. “After this band of traitors is defeated by the Georgian people, we will all see clearly how they are held accountable for everything they are doing against our state and our country’s population.”
Baramidze’s remark comes after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was elected as the Chairman of the Georgian Dream political party during today’s congress.
