The Unity–National Movement (UNM) sold the party’s central office on Kakheti Highway. The party cites financial mobilization and the need for closer engagement with voters as key reasons for the move.
According to UNM’s statement, relocating to a more central location in Tbilisi will enhance accessibility for members, supporters, and journalists. The party emphasized that while the office has witnessed many political battles, a party is defined by its people and values rather than a building.
The statement also highlights financial challenges, pointing out that the suspension of state funding due to the party’s boycott of parliament has made resource mobilization essential.
UNM plans to implement a new financial sustainability system, allowing greater member involvement in party management and funding.
